Business networking – time for a reality check?

This week I was really lucky to be speaking about business networking at two business shows at different ends of the UK – The Essex Business Show in Rainham and The Welsh Business Show in Swansea.
More than once, people have told me that networking hadn’t “worked” for them, as they had a great product or service, but nobody at the networking events they had been to had bought it. When I asked them what marketing was working for them, it turned out that nothing was really working.
So I thought maybe it was time for a bit of a networking reality check, and here it it,
