The Networking Retreat

24 Hours to improve your results from networking forever.

Are you attending a lot of networking events, but making very few sales?

Have you tried social media and content marketing, but it seems just too much effort with no return?

Are you brilliant at making new connections, but don’t know how to turn them into customers?

Are you brilliant at what you do, but you struggle to explain the value you deliver, so it’s really hard to get a “yes”?

How to turn networking into sales – in the 21st century

A two day business networking, social media and content marketing workshop from Stefan Thomas – author of Business Networking for Dummies.

I’ve dealt with all of this along the way. When I first went out networking I had no idea how to talk to people about what I did, or how to translate the value so that people knew what they were buying.

When I first started writing blogs and making videos, they had no real purpose, I was just doing them, because everyone else was.

Nobody wants to feel as though they’re not moving forward, and I certainly felt that. I felt like I was doing everything right – but something was missing, and because of that, I wasn’t making the sales I felt I deserved – sound familiar?

I’m no salesman. When I watch people who can effortlessly sell, I am in total awe. And the more I watched the really successful people, the more I realised they weren’t selling. At least not what I believed selling to be. They were simply making it easy for people to buy from them, and positioning themselves in such a way that people actively wanted to buy from them, and felt good about doing so.

Once that clicked, once I worked out how to achieve that, and continue to give massive value, it was as if a light, and a tap, had been turned on.

My networking made more sense, my social media made more sense, my blogging, articles and videos made more sense. And more than that, they all made more sales.

Do you want:

More sales?

Your networking to actually work?

To really understand how to use content marketing to effortlessly drive your ideal clients to your door?

If you do, then you need to book onto this workshop right now.

What previous clients have said:

claire_mcternanClaire McTernan – The UK’s Only Expert in
Sustainable Growth for Service Businesses – “I implemented one thing from The Networking Retreat and it resulted in a new client which gave me a positive return on investment within 6 days. That one client has now paid me over £7000 in fees”.

Al Bryce City of Edinburgh CouncilAl Bryce – Business Growth Adviser – City of Edinburgh Council – “I was delighted to have Stefan deliver a business networking workshop to a group of local businesses during our East Lothian Business Week. He was full of great tips and best practice techniques to help the attendees brush up on their networking skills. He kept everyone engaged for 90 minutes with his storytelling approach, involving the audience throughout and was very well received.”

Paul McCluskey Lloyds BankPaul McCluskey – Head of Professional Practices – Lloyds Banking Group Plc – “Stefan ran a full day workshop with my national specialist legal relationship management team. The focus for the day was building trust and Stefan tailored the day to be relevant to the roles of the audience ensuring that the day was guided but not scripted this allowing the day to flow to help address the needs of the attendees. Feedback from the team was extremely positive and I have no hesitation in recommending Stefan to anyone thinking about running a similar workshop.”

If you were getting it right, and your networking, social media and content was truly joined up – how much time and effort would you save?

If you were getting it right – how many more sales could you make?

This event is for you if:

You sell business to business services and you KNOW your networking contacts would benefit from working with you, they’re just not buying.

You sell business to business and know you could be charging more, and that your service is worth so much more than you’re charging right now.

You want the world to know about your personal brand – but need to know the exact strategies and tactics which people like Stefan and his clients have implemented to make it work for them.

The event will take place at Milton Hill House, the venue for The Networking Retreat for the last 3 years. Milton Hill House is a fantastic learning environment, with plenty of space for us to spread out, have 121s, and get the most benefit from the day.

Importantly, it is just a couple of miles from the A34 (Didcot junction), a short taxi ride from Didcot Parkway rail station, and around an hours drive from either Bristol and Heathrow airports.

Specifically, we’ll be covering:

How to use networking events to grow your network and nurture your existing contacts

How to use social media to keep in touch with those contacts at scale AND notice when people are ready to buy from you

How to develop a simple to implement content marketing strategy which will lead your contacts to that all important moment of trust.

How to use content to ensure you charge the right amount, and attract the customers who are thrilled to pay you the right amount.

You’ll receive all of our slides and course material, and can put everything into practice immediately – how much difference could that make to your business in 2018?

Also included in the price:

  • Lunch on Thursday
  • Three course dinner on the Thursday evening
  • Ensuite accomodation
  • Breakfast on Friday
  • Lunch on Friday
  • Access to the gym, swimming pool and spa
  • All course materials
  • Two hours 121 with me – which I usually sell for £225
